Our Story
Tom and John Sergio created J.A. Sergio & Sons, Inc. in 1988. Growing up, Tom was constantly helping his dad with construction projects whenever he could because he had always known that he wanted to operate a construction company. After high school, he intended to enter the construction industry, but decided to attend college instead. Tom attended Tennessee Tech University and graduated with a bachelor’s in finance.
After graduating, he continued to harbor ambitions of founding his own construction business, so he sat down with his father to iron out the specifics, and J.A. Sergio & Sons was born.
Today, the company is still family-owned and operated and proud to serve the Sparta, TN community. Tom is also an honored member of the Upper Cumberland Home Builders Association.
